MANU DIBANGO - SOUL MAKOSSA ( VERSION ORIGINALE ???)

Manu's Soul Makossa appeared in various guises from 1972 - 1973
as 'Soul Makossa' or 'O'Boso' depending on Label and Country of
release and all labelled as 'Version Originale' or 'Original Version'.
LP's seem to have had a core of 5 tracks and depending on whether
O'boso or Soul Makossa, 1or 2 more tracks. 'Wildman in The City' &
'Ngosso' off  O'boso and 'Lily' off Soul Makossa....neither appearing
on the other......Except for the 1973 Decca German release:

http://www.discogs.com/Manu-Dibango-Soul-Makossa/release/1368664

which featured all 9 Tracks from the variations.
This LP is the one I sought and purchased but have not yet Digitized.
Instead I present from my CD collection the 1994 French Musidisc
release of Soul Makossa in WAV plus the 2 missing tracks from O'Boso
'Wildman In The City' & 'Ngosso' (2 Of My Fav's ! in 24/96 courtesy
of a High Res LP Rip) to complete the 9 tracks from this period of
'Version Originale'
Original LP covers can be found at Discogs
This was posted a few years ago on 'Flabbergast's' blog but I think the
links have expired.
PLEASE leave a small comment....It only takes a few seconds, make it worthwhile!

Enjoy...

SORRY BACK SOON.....

After 'The Wailers' Concert in Manchester on 28th Sept. spent a week on the Red Sea,
on return my Appendix decided it was time to cause me misery...of which it did a fine job
2 Hospital weeks later after developing an infection etc...I am now back home somewhat weaker but
glad to be in the presence of my Music collection which I'm sure will contribute to my recovery.
First track I wanted to hear on arrival home (Prob due to the fact my Locum from Nigeria who was a fan of Fela Kuti resembled Manu and took good care of me Thanks Emanuel !) was Manu Dibango's 'Besoka on Salsa'...great stuff !
Sorry to Bore you....will post some Music ASAP!
